This ReD Market On Vendors Policy (this "Agreement") constitutes a legally binding agreement between both parties, and any individual or entity (the "Vendor," "Seller," "you," or "your") who registers to sell products on the ReD Market On online marketplace located at redmarket-on.com (the "Platform").
By registering as a Vendor on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions (for buyers), Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies or guidelines posted on the Platform, all of which are incorporated by reference.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information promptly to keep it accurate, current, and complete. ReD Market On reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Vendor account if any information provided is found to be false, inaccurate, incomplete, or violates any term of this Agreement.
You may only list products that are lawful, safe, and comply with all applicable South African laws, regulations, and industry standards. ReD Market On reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what products are permitted on the Platform.
You agree not to list or sell any of the following prohibited items:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of your product listings, including but not limited to descriptions, images, prices, stock availability, and any disclaimers or warnings. All product descriptions must comply with the CPA's requirements for truthful and non-misleading information.
You are solely responsible for setting the prices of your products. All prices must be in one of the supported currencies available (ZAR, AOA, NGA, NAD) and include VAT if you are a VAT-registered vendor.
You are responsible for accurately managing your inventory levels and ensuring that listed products are in stock and available for immediate sale.
By listing a product, you agree to accept and fulfil all valid orders placed through the Platform for that product.
Upon receiving an order notification from ReD Market On, you commit to processing and dispatching the ordered products within the timeframe specified in your listing or, if not specified, within 2 business days of receiving the order confirmation.
All products must be securely and appropriately packaged to prevent damage during transit.
You are responsible for ensuring that products are shipped to the customer's provided address using a reliable shipping method. You must provide valid tracking information for all orders.
Shipping costs will be determined as per your shipping settings on the Platform. If free shipping is offered, you bear the cost.
You must adhere to the delivery estimates provided in your listings. You are responsible for communicating any unavoidable delays to both ReD Market On and the customer promptly.
ReD Market On will process all payments from buyers securely through our integrated payment gateways.
For each sale made through the Platform, ReD Market On will charge a commission fee as agreed upon during your registration or as communicated in your Vendor Dashboard. This commission will be deducted from the buyer's payment before the payout to you.
Payouts of your earnings (sales revenue less ReD Market On's commission and any applicable charges) will be made to your nominated South African bank account on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis, or as otherwise specified in your Vendor Dashboard. Payouts will be processed only once the funds have cleared and any relevant holding periods for new vendors or high-value transactions have passed.
You are solely responsible for all taxes (including income tax, VAT, etc.) associated with your sales and earnings on the Platform. ReD Market On will provide you with sales reports, but it is your responsibility to manage and remit your taxes to SARS. If you are VAT registered, you must provide your VAT number to ReD Market On and ensure your pricing correctly includes VAT.
You agree to adhere to ReD Market On's Return and Refund Policy (redmarket-on.com/return-policy), which incorporates provisions of ECTA and CPA.
You are primarily responsible for addressing returns or refunds for defective, damaged, or incorrect items supplied by you, in accordance with the CPA's implied warranty of quality (including the 6-month implied warranty for defects not due to wear and tear). You must honour customer requests for repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.
You are responsible for providing timely and professional customer service to buyers regarding your products, including answering product-related queries, assisting with order status inquiries, and resolving post-sale issues. You must respond to customer inquiries within [e.g., 24-48 hours] during business days.
