ReD Market On Shipping Policy

At ReD Market On, we are committed to delivering your purchases efficiently and reliably. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery estimates, and what to expect after placing an order.

 

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) after payment confirmation.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
  • During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly extended. Any significant delays will be communicated.

 

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery address, the size and weight of your order, and the selected shipping method.

General Delivery Estimates:

  • Standard Shipping: Typically 3-7 business days after dispatch.
  • Express Shipping: (If offered) Typically 1-3 business days after dispatch.

How Shipping Costs Are Determined:

Shipping costs are generally determined by the weight and dimensions of the package, the delivery distance, and the chosen shipping carrier. Some sellers on our platform may offer free shipping for certain products or orders exceeding a specific value, which will be indicated on the product page or at checkout.

 

3. Shipping Carriers

We partner with various reputable shipping carriers in South Africa to ensure reliable delivery. The carrier for your order will be determined at checkout and will be visible on your tracking information.

 

4. Order Confirmation and Tracking

  • Once your order has been placed and confirmed, you will receive an Order Confirmation Email with your order details.
  • When your order is dispatched, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email which will include your tracking number(s) and a link to track your package directly on the carrier's website.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active after you receive the shipping confirmation.

 

5. Delivery Issues & Failed Deliveries

 

Non-Delivery:

If your tracking shows that your order has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact us immediately (within 24-48 hours of the reported delivery time) at info@redmarket-on.com. We will investigate the matter with the shipping carrier.

Damaged Packages:

If you receive a package that appears damaged, please do not accept it if possible, or make a note of the damage with the delivery driver. Take photos of the damage and contact us immediately. Refer to our Return Policy for details on handling damaged items.

Failed Delivery Attempts / Uncollected Packages:

Most carriers will attempt delivery once or twice. If delivery is unsuccessful due to the recipient not being available or incorrect address details provided by the customer, the package may be returned to the seller or held at a local depot for collection.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the provided delivery address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the package.

If a package is returned to the seller due to a failed delivery attempt or non-collection, the customer may be responsible for re-delivery charges. In some cases, a refund (minus shipping costs) may be issued if the item is returned to stock.

 

6. International Shipping

Currently, ReD Market On only ships within South Africa. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

 

7. Force Majeure and Delays

While we strive for timely delivery, ReD Market On (and our sellers and shipping partners) shall not be liable for any delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, public holidays, strikes, lockouts, riots, civil commotion, epidemics/pandemics, governmental regulations, natural disasters, and unforeseen carrier delays. We will, however, endeavour to keep you informed of any significant delays.
